Siya Deshmukh
Hey heyy! My name is Siya Deshmukh and I’m a high school student in the Bay Area. My passion for art began almost 12 years ago. Since then, I’ve been learning various forms of visual art, from graphite shading, watercolor, and oil pastels, to colored pencil, digital, and acrylic painting. Over the past 10 years, I’ve primarily explored and enjoyed acrylic work.
I see each painting as a new journey — an opportunity to alter the ordinary with my own perspective. As an artist, I consider the gift of life as my inspiration. The joy that colors introduce, the warmth that love spreads, and the excitement that my close ones bring. Art is my home, the place of my peace and the creation of my mind.

For the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of learning from an incredible artist, Komal Tambekar, based in India. She’s guided me throughout everything, from foundational shading to fine detailing. She’s always so patient, considerate, and ensures all of her students do their absolute best. As I’ve grown with her, she has pushed me past my expectations and provided me with confidence through each and every piece of work.
